Ammoniacal Nitrogen (NH₄–N)
FlowAMS is Exzeler’s premium ammonium sulfate (AMS) fertilizer for fertigation and foliar use, offering 21% nitrogen (N) and 60% sulfur trioxide (SO₃) in a highly soluble and acidic formulation. Its low pH (~4.0–4.5) not only improves nitrogen uptake, but also boosts phosphorus and micronutrient availability—especially in alkaline and calcareous soils.
FlowAMS plays a pivotal role in chlorophyll synthesis, protein formation, and enzyme activation. It’s particularly effective during vegetative stages where leaf expansion and nitrogen demand are high, and sulfur deficiency can limit plant metabolism. The synergy of ammonium-N and sulfate-S supports optimal growth, higher protein content, and improved crop color and quality.

Application Guidelines
Fertigation
FlowAMS is compatible with all fertigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and pivot irrigation.
- Dosage: 5–15 kg/ha per application depending on crop and growth stage.
- Frequency: Apply during early vegetative stages and again during periods of high N/S demand (e.g. pre-flowering in cereals or brassicas).
- pH Improvement: Use as a water conditioner to reduce pH and prevent scaling in irrigation lines.
Foliar Application
FlowAMS can supplement nitrogen and sulfur directly through the leaf.
- Foliar Dosage: 0.5–1.5 %
- Recommended concentration: 0.5–2%.
- Timing: Apply during active vegetative growth for fast uptake and greening effect.
- Precaution: Avoid applications under intense sunlight or high temperatures. Always perform a test on a small area before wide use.
Compatibility & Handling
- Compatible with most water-soluble fertilizers except calcium-based compounds (CaNO₃).
- Works well as a tank partner with FlowNPK, FlowMAP, or micronutrient blends.
- Perform a jar test before mixing with pesticides or unknown partners.
Handling and Storage
- Store in a dry, cool environment away from moisture.
- Use protective gloves and eyewear during handling.
- Avoid storing with alkaline materials or calcium sources.
